COMMUNITY SPONSORSHIP
a) Our ability to assist depends on your specific plans. While we strive to support as many worthwhile causes as possible, high demand means we cannot accommodate every request.
b) To ensure effective community support, we've established the following guidelines:
c) We have a fixed sponsorship quota allocated each month. Once this quota is filled, we cannot accept additional applications for that month, even if submitted with more than six weeks' notice.
d) We may not sponsor the same charities annually, as we aim to provide opportunities to a diverse range of organizations.
e) A minimum of six weeks' notice is required before your event. Towards the end of the year, several months' notice may be necessary due to quickly filled quotas. Early applications are recommended.
f) Based on customer feedback, we've updated our sponsorship criteria and may decline requests if the event content is potentially contentious. A declined request does not reflect a judgment on your event but our commitment to representing a broad range of community values.
g) We support charities and community groups within New Zealand only and do not sponsor individuals.
h) If your request meets our criteria but is declined, it does not reflect our view of your organization's value. It's a practical decision to distribute support among various applicants. Please feel free to apply again for future fundraising efforts.
i) In return for sponsorship, we request acknowledgment of Lynn River on sponsorship boards or similar materials using our logo.
